China will build more than 500 industry-leading smart-manufacturing demonstration plants by 2025, according to a development plan on smart manufacturing issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other departments on Dec 28.

智能制造是发展壮大计策性新兴家当，加快形成当代家当体系的主要手段，可以带动工业机器人、增材制造、工业软件等新兴家当发展，在环球范围内推动家当的协同互助和优化升级，提升家当链供应链当代化水平。作为制造强国培植的主攻方向，智能制造发展水平关乎我国未来制造业的环球地位。发展智能制造，对付加快发展当代家当体系，巩固壮大实体经济根基，构建新发展格局，培植数字中国具有主要意义。
《“十四五”智能制造发展方案》明确提出“两步走”，即到2025年，规模以上制造业企业大部分实现数字化网络化，重点行业骨干企业初步运用智能化；到2035年，规模以上制造业企业全面遍及数字化网络化，重点行业骨干企业基本实现智能化。《方案》从创新、运用、供给和支撑4个方面，提出了“十四五”推动智能制造发展的紧张任务。
